Wine Tasting at Bocanariz
Our favorite wine bar in the city, it is worth the trek over to Lastarria to check this place out and try some of Chile's finest wines (Casa Luz is right up there too, if you want to stay in the neighborhood!)
Local Business Wall at Boa
A good spot to grab lunch that is right in the middle of the city. The juices are particularly delicious!
Gin Tonics at Ruca
A great place to grab an after dinner drink in the Barrio. The food looked very tasty, too!
Hiking up San Cristobal
If you want to get a taste of nature without trekking up into the Andes, this is a nice afternoon adventure.
Hot Chocolate and Gelato at XOCO
Hot or cold, this is the place to get chocolate if you are in town. Obolo is another solid option too, which is close by.
Fresh Coffee at Fundicion
Some of the best coffee we had in South America was at this new espresso place just southeast of Barrio Italia. There was a fun farmer's market nearby on the weekends as well.
Daily Breakfasts at Maison Italia
I only wish I didn't have to go to work so early during the weekdays (it was a 50 minute walk) or I would have had this spread every morning.
Healthy Lunch at Vegan Bunker
If you need a break from beef and empanadas whilst in town, this is the spot to check out.
Alpacaspotting at Emiliana
An organic winery right off the highway in the Casablanca region that has an excellent tour of the grounds - including the alpaca pen!
