The Casco Bay Islands
Nothing beats a day out on the water in the middle of the summer. There are about a half dozen islands in Casco Bay that are easily reachable - Peaks is the most populated, and Long has the best beaches!
Dinner at Street & Co.
Our hands-down favorite nice night out in the Old Port is Street and Company. It is the perfect blend of classy and simple across all aspects - food, presentation, decor, and staff.
Fireside at the Press Hotel
A nice place to grab a warm drink and read a book during the winter, the lobby at the Press Hotel comes complete with a giant Scrabble board.
Boat Beers at Flatbread
Before heading off to Long Island, we always try to stop in at the Flatbread take-out window to grab a pizza and a beer before the boat ride!
Friteshack by Duckfat at Oxbow Brewing
In case you need a snack to go along with your delicious beer at Oxbow, it is a great idea to pop in next door to get your frites fix!
Summer Market Boat
Last summer, a enterprising couple took to the waves and now offers a floating market that stops at the Casco Bay island docks periodically.
Cold Brew at the Holy Donut
Potato donuts and cold brew - need we say more?
Cinque Terre
A nice place to grab wine and a cheese board in a tranquil setting right in the middle of the Old Port - a good choice year round.
Holiday Market at Brick South
A massive warehouse next to Bissell Brothers brewing, Brick South hosts a number of events throughout the year - one of our favorites is the Christmas market.
