We will travel (almost) anywhere in the world to stay at a Six Senses. We were some of the first guests at this property - they didn't even have their liquor license yet!
Coffee Shop Hopping
Coffee shops line the streets of Ubud selling different blends of Balanese and Sumatran blends.
Mt. Batur
Lunch with volcano views... definitely worth taking the trip to the north side of the island
Wandering the Monkey Forest
Monkeys doing monkey things while we strolled through the forest - there are over 1,000 in this reservation right outside of town.
Boutiques in Ubud
One of the many small shops nestled into the streets of Ubud - with wares sourced from Bali and beyond.
Strolling the Market Stalls
When you buy something from the market stalls, don't be surprised if the vendor slaps your money on other products for good luck!
Streetside Shrines
Nearly every building in the town had one of these shrines set up for a local festival, with offerings placed in the house daily.
A Curious Inquisitor
The wild dogs were everywhere in town, inquisitive but friendly.
Tegallalang Rice Terraces
It is a good workout to walk through the active rice patties! Some of the coolest terrain we saw during our trip.
